What people are saying about Us:

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken thanks to Puma Expeditions!! My husband and I traveled with a group of 9 total on our trip to Cusco, our main guide Jorge was excellent leader for the group! It was a trip filled with education and exploration. Our guide for our 2 days Machu Picchu adventure was Miguel. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the Inca history.

Thanks to everyone at Puma Expeditions for the trip of a lifetime!!

The region around Machu Picchu is protected. The Peruvian Ministry of Culture only permits a maximum of 2,500 people per day—including paid hikers and guide staff—in order to protect the environment and archaeological sites. You must therefore make reservations as far in advance as you can. The Machupicchu occasionally sells out two months or more in advance. Remember that there is the highest demand during the months of July and August (inclusive), and reservations fill up fast. We must provide the government organization that issues the permits with specific personal information in order to reserve your spot on the Machupicchu.
