Day 1 Cusco - Ninamarca - Paucartambo - Cloud Forest - Coco’s House
5:00am very early. We will pick you up from your hotel in our private car and drive to southeastern Peru. We begin our climb up the Andes, passing several towns along the way, including Huancarani, stopping to visit the pre-Inca tombs of Ninamarca, commonly known as Chullpas or burial chambers (3,750 meters above sea level). We then descend into the Paucartambo valley, reaching the city and stopping for breakfast and an excursion to the main square. We continue our journey for an hour to the entrance of Manu National Park, a place called Ajanaco (3,550m). Here we will see a different type of vegetation and clouds descending towards the jungle, we can see the entrance of the cloud forest and see the vegetation covering us all around the mountains quickly turn into clouds, overlooking the valley leading to the Amazon River, the mountains and waterfalls, We will stop at various points in the cloud forest to be able to spot birds such as woodpeckers, pythons, orioles, and look for opportunities to see the cock-of-rock- bird (the national bird of Peru). We will take a short walk and then have lunch in the cloud forest. We then continue our journey through the jungle towns of Patria, Pilcopata, Salvacion, before reaching our place where we will spend the night at a private Coco’s house. We will have a delicious dinner.
Day 2 Coco’s House - Casa Machiguenga
We will embark on a journey along the newly constructed road leading to Boca Manu. Upon our arrival, a prearranged motorized boat will be ready to transport us to the Reserved zone of Manu National Park.
During the boat ride, we will have the chance to appreciate the abundant wildlife along the riverbank and experience the beauty of this natural paradise.
Once we reach to Casa Machiguenga. we will fully immerse ourselves in the area's rich bio diversity. The Park provides an exceptional backdrop for nature exploration and wildlife observation. As we settle into this secluded and pristine location, we will delight in the sights and sounds of the surrounding environment, preparing ourselves for further adventures in this remarkable region of nature.
Day 3 Cocha Salvador
We will start our day early in the morning to observe the giant otters enjoying their breakfast at Salvador Oxbow Lake. This location is renowned for its wildlife, where it is common to see monkeys amidst the towering trees surrounding the lake. We will spend approximately two hours at the lake before returning to Casa Machiguenga for our lunch.
The reserve provides an exceptional backdrop for nature exploration and wildlife observation. As we settle into this secluded and pristine location, we will delight in the sights and sounds of the surrounding environment, preparing ourselves for further adventures in this remarkable region of nature.
In the afternoon late we will return to our camp site for a refresh shower and delicious dinner.
Day 4 Cocha Otorongo - Coco’s House
Following that, we will drive to another lake, known as Otorongo (Lake Jaguar), where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a lookout and explore various trails to learn about the tropical forest. In the afternoon, we will return to the camp for lunch, and later venture back into the jungle to search for spider monkeys, woolly monkeys, peccaries, deer, and coatis. We will then return to our lodge for a refreshing shower and a delightful dinner, where we can share our jungle experiences.
Let us continue our adventure as we journey down the Manu River, where we will have the opportunity to observe a variety of birds and mammals, including a jaguar along the riverbank. We will arrive to Boca Manu where we will chance our transportation, our bus will drive us by Manu road until we reach Coco's House, where we can enjoy a refreshing shower and a delicious dinner.
DAY 5 Coco’s House - Cloud Forest - Cusco
Early this morning we will take our private car back to the city of Cusco, we will make a stop at the Dos loritos place, here you will be able to see different species of birds and mammals that were rescued and trained for their original habitat, continuing our trip we will be able to make a stop In the cloud forest to see the beautiful landscape of mountains with vegetation and waterfalls, in the afternoon we will arrive in the city of Cusco, transfer to your hotel.

A full refund of the trip deposit will be provided if cancellation occurs within three months of booking. A 50% refund is available for cancellations made up to four weeks prior to the tour start date. This policy is in place to safeguard against incurred losses. Please note that if cancellation occurs after the tour has commenced, no deposit will be refunded.
Regarding safety, we are not liable for any accidental injuries, illnesses, or fatalities. We strongly recommend obtaining insurance; however, we have not encountered any issues thus far. While the rainforest is often portrayed as a hazardous environment populated by wildlife, food borne illnesses, piranhas, and alligators, this portrayal is exaggerated. It is essential to take necessary precautions in the jungle environment, as injuries are more likely to occur from tripping or improper footing. Please remain vigilant of your surroundings, adhere to your guide's instructions, and exercise caution at all times. The rainforest warrants respect and care at all times.
