Maras Salt Miners, 40 kilometers from the city of Cusco, is one of the oldest salt mines, the same ones that were mined for human consumption in the Inca times.
Moray is known for its impressive circular architecture, which functions as an amphitheater through its vast terraces. Moray's advanced engineering was completely innovative for its time. The entire complex is designed for food production.
Chinchero, on the way back to Cusco, we will visit the picturesque village of Chinchero, where the royal estate of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui is located. You'll admire the well-preserved Inca walls in the main square, and visit a beautiful colonial temple built on the foundations of Inca architecture, with interesting frescoes on the porch.
After visiting all these archaeological centers, we will return to the city of Cusco around 4:00 pm.
